Fair Gate Collection

The Optimist Club members collect money and tickets daily at the Laclede County Fair held in July. The Laclede County Fair board pays the club a set amount to collect the gate money and manage the parking. This fundraiser has been a part of the club since 2018 and we are proud of our relationship with the Fair.

The money that we earn goes toward the various programs we do each year to support the youth of the community.
